A TikTok user has warned why members of the public should not visit Benidorm beach at night.
The viral post has racked up over 150,000 likes and thousands of reposts as information on why you should fear the dunes of the popular tourist spot is spread across social media. User @frankthestagman told members of the public to stay clear as you can get "heavily fined" for night time beach strolls.
Though the TikTok creator says they had never seen people find for being on the beach at night, they did mention another key reason to keep clear of the beaches.

Frank, also known as Frank the Stag Man, said: "You'd be amazed at what happens down towards the front there. Lots of people come down here at night and get up to stuff that's kind of like, how can I put it, naughty.
"If you come down to the beach at night and you find a little corner down there or between the deck chairs or put them together so you can do what you wanna do, please bear in mind there are people who are called the Serpientes [the serpents]. What they do is they crawl down underneath these deck chairs and they can relieve you of your handbags, your phone, your wallets."
The TikTok creator also warned those who were skinny dipping in the ocean were also at risk of being accosted by the group.
"There's a very big chance that you will lose your belongings," he said. "The people who do that sort of stuff target people that are going down onto the beaches at night for fun".
Members of the public who had already been or were heading off to the holiday resort were less than impressed by the information. One user commented: "I'm only hearing negative things and going in a month getting worried never been to Benidorm before."
Another wrote: "My sister got robbed on this beach, yes at night... Not saying what she was up to." A third added: "I was expecting you to say the Benidorm sea monster comes out lol."
It's important to be aware that there are certain restrictions in the area - and if you break them you could receive a massive, fine. Having sex on the beach could see you fined 641, while refusing to put proper clothing on meaning covering up your swimwear could see you face a 256 fine.
Another unusual rule means that if you are caught swimming in the sea between midnight and 7am you could be charged between 640 and 1,026.
