Brits have been warning fellow tourists to swerve one of the UK's most disappointing beaches.
Britain boasts some ridiculously pretty beaches whether you're after something worthy of a tropical island or with Caribbean-esque sands, but it also has some stretches of coast that leave much to be desired.
In fact, tourists have slammed one beach for being a "huge hazard", with grim toilets and "dreadful" surroundings.

According to a study of TripAdvisor reviews carried out by Preply, North Shore Beach in Llandudno is the most disappointing 'big hitter beach'. That is not to say it is the worst in the country - far from it.
The research instead looked at the nations top 20 most popular and famous beaches and then worked out which had the most disappointing, 1,2, and 3-star reviews, to reveal which ones might leave you feeling underwhelmed. The Welsh beach is clearly a hit with many and a big part of the draw of the country's largest seaside resort. It is sheltered with a long Victorian pier and wide promenade and is set in the shadow of the Great Orme.
The long, sandy beach is not to everyone's taste however. Of 223 reviews on Tripadvisor, 65 were in the 'disappointing' category.
Of the roughly 30% of people who had some negative words to share about North Shore Beach many mentioned the uncomfortable nature of the pebbles.
"The beach is lovely and clean, but the pebbles are very dangerous and need to be removed. Huge hazard. The toilets are one of the worst I have seen especially for a beach that size. You have to walk forever to get to the toilets," one unhappy beach goer wrote.
For one couple looking to recreate a romantic moment, North Shore Beach proved to be a big damp squib. "My husband and I are visiting the area because 50 years ago we honeymooned in Conwy and loved visiting Llandudno," one woman wrote on Tripadvisor.
"The North shore beach is now dreadful for walking on and I wouldnt attempt to swim here. The tiny bit of sand at one end must have been packed in August with children wanting to build sandcastles, if their parents hadnt given up on it. The beautiful sandy beach has been replaced with horrible large grey rocks."
A third deflated day tripper added: "Small amount of sand that in good weather would be packed. Very noisy with the microphones advertising boat trips. So many pebbles and when the tide goes out, more rocks and ugliness. Not a place to sit and sunbathe."
While there are plenty of people with an axe to grind with Llandudno, many others love the coastal resort.
One reviewer wrote: "At first we were a bit disheartened as it wasnt as sandy as we were expecting, however, after a week there we loved it! Its very pebbly but this makes for stunning photos and you can find some pretty cool things hiding amongst the rocks (I found seagull bones and a few hag stones!)
"The jetties that extend out to see are a nice addition as you can walk all the way to the end. When the tide goes out there is a small part of sandy beach, and there are plenty of little rock pools. The backdrop is of beautiful mountains to the east and west, and to the south of the beach the promenade is lined with gorgeous buildings, giving the area a very vintage vibe."
