Eurostar just announced a flash sale where you can bag tickets for 35 including a destination with 4 pints.
That's right, cheap day trips or city breaks to mainland Europe are back. It certainly comes at a perfect time as Brits are being pounded by heavy rainfall.
And although the weather might not be any better across the Channel, at least they have cheaper pints than here in England which has crept up to 6.30 in London.

So, where can you go for 35 (each way) on the high-speed Eurostar? Well, the flash sale is currently covering destinations; London, Paris, Lille and Brussels.
That means you can either go to France or Belgium and back for 70 which isn't bad for a cheeky autumn getaway. There is also quite a reasonable time frame for your holiday as it appears (at time of writing) the cheapest tickets run from September 24 until November 27.
However, you need to book quick as the deal ends tomorrow (September 12). And you certainly do not want to miss out on Brussels' 4(3.38) pints.
The capital of Belgium and the centre of the European Union offers cheap beers and great sights.
Although Brussels, loved for the cobbled streets and aesthetic architecture, is seen as a moderately expensive place to visit, at least a cold one will go down much easier than back home.
What else is there to do in Brussels other than sipping pints? Well, you can go try some Belgian chocolate, take a stroll around some of the parks or take in the sights of the Royal Palace.
But, still have boozy intentions? Well, if Brussels isn't for you and you're seeking out pints elsewhere then the average pint price does hike up in the French destinations.
The average price of a pint in Paris is 6.76 and in Lille a pint is a little cheaper at 6.25. But 70 return to anywhere is pretty good bargain if you ask us regardless of the price of a drink...
