Benidorm isn't typically a destination that's associated with tranquility.
It's known for its lovely sunshine, bustling bars and affordable accommodation. And for this reason, it's a favourite for Brits heading on stag dos and boozy girls' holidays.
But if you take a step off the beaten track, you could get a nice surprise. That's because there are plenty of hidden gems in Alicante, Spain.
One of these areas is Cala Almadraba beach, which was recently put in the spotlight by a TikToker called Karina Spain. Her clip, which provided a birds-eye view of the coastline, has garnered more than 8,000 likes on the platform.
Cala Almadraba is a secluded cove that's near to the main Levante beach. It offers some respite from the busy city centre and you can head there to listen to the sound of waves crashing on the shore.
The adventurous among you may also want to go for a dip. You can bob around and enjoy the surroundings or go for a snorkel if you fancy.
As the stretch of coastline is shrouded by rocky and tree-covered terrain, it provides some natural privacy for those who visit. So it's unsurprising that it's become a favourite for nudists too!
On TripAdvisor, one visitor gushed: "This stunning little cove is just a few hundred yards away from the main Levante beach in Benidorm. It offers a peaceful setting on a rocky beach with a few sandy areas others have made to sunbathe on.
"Crystal clear water to swim and snorkel in with thousands of different types of fish. Great for the nudest with around 80% nude and 20% textile.
"No one bothers you other than to say hi or good morning. Couples and singles of both sex so its a comfortable place to relax. Super clean too."
And another said: "Absolutely stunning little beach, close enough to the main Levante beach and town but secluded thanks to being tucked into a little bay. Clothing optional!
"Shallow, crystal clear water, we didnt get chance but it would be ideal for snorkelling. Narrow path then rocky descent to the beach itself."
