If you're hunting for a new telly but want to keep costs rock-bottom, now is a great time to bag a bargain, as shops try to tempt us to part with our cash to upgrade our viewing ahead of the World Cup. Argos is currently selling smart TVs for as little as 109, but Amazon has trumped them with an even cheaper offer right now.
The online retail giant has a 32-inch TV reduced to 103.50, an eye-catchingly rock-bottom price for a brand-new screen of that size. The Finlux MH24F is a smart Fire TV that operates Amazon's Fire OS, meaning it can run apps like Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, YouTube, Now TV and TNT Sports straight out of the box, plus it's got Freeview baked in, allowing you to access dozens of channels without paying a penny.
While we haven't put this particular telly through its paces, what you're getting for just over a ton could be exactly what you're after -and hundreds of reviewers on the site already agree. While 32 inches seemed massive back in 2001, it's hardly enormous by today's standards in 2026. However, if you simply need a compact TV, maybe for the bedroom or kitchen to watch while doing other things, this Finlux Fire TV does the job nicely.

It even boasts HDR10 and Dolby Audio compatibility for supported apps, and being an Amazon Fire TV, it comes with Amazon's Alexa voice assistant built-in, meaning it can field questions or respond to voice commands to play specific programmes or films, or launch different apps, reports the Express.
All you'll require is a power socket and Wi-Fi connection to get the TV up and running. Just sign into the services you're already paying for, and you're sorted. There are also the official BBC iPlayer, ITVX and Channel 4 apps available - so provided you have a TV licence, you can enjoy a wealth of additional shows or live TV entirely free of charge.
The TV also comes with one or two HDMI ports at the back, making it a solid budget-friendly option for connecting a games console or even a DVD player for a bit of retro entertainment. Amazon describes this as a 'limited time deal,' without specifying when the price might increase. So, if you're in the market for a bargain telly for around a hundred quid, you might want to snap this one up before the price goes up.
The TV currently has a 4.3 out of 5 star rating based on more than 300 reviews, with shoppers praising it for it's solid quality at a bargain price point. One shopper called it 'a sterling performer, that punches above its weight' adding: "Picture quality is sharp enough for the size, sound is clear, and it loads up apps like Netflix, YouTube and Prime without any fuss.
"Fire TV built in makes life easier no need for an extra box or dongle and streaming works as expected. Its quick to switch on, the menus are simple, and it hasnt frozen or misbehaved once. Ideal for a kitchen or smaller room where you dont need cinema quality but still want all the smart features in one neat package. Very happy with it."
A second shopper added: "Bought for kitchen so I can watch footie while cooking. Brilliant little TV, has all the apps you want including Netflix, NowTV, Discovery, Prime, Disney etc and easy to navigate because its set up the same as your Firestick. Connected to Wifi with no issues at all and runs smoothly."
However, while 103.50 is an attractive price, it's worth noting that the speakers on this compact screen may not exactly deliver 'room-filling' sound. They might suffice for casual viewing, but don't anticipate your living room being transformed into a cinematic experience. Also, some shoppers have flagged the TV doesn't have YouTube so if this is something you're after you might prefer to choose a different model.
Alternatively, if you are looking to upgrade your main screen, Finlux also offers a significantly larger 55-inch model boasting 4K resolution, a substantial upgrade from the 32-inch HD version. This 55-inch TV is currently reduced to 225 from 379, and is another solid purchase ahead of the summer games.
Meanwhile, Argos also has a 55-inch option, currently reduced to 289. The TCL PF650K Fire TV comes with Freeview alternative Freely, 4K HDR, Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos and his been recommended by 92% of shoppers who've bought the gadget so far from Argos.
