Britain's Got Talent presenters Ant and Dec were left chortling after mistaking Sydney Sweeney for someone else. While speaking on their podcast Hanging Out with Ant & Dec, the producer asked the showbiz duo: "Have any of your Golden Buzzer acts won?" to which Ant replied: "Yes, we've won the show before. John Courtney!"

Dec added: "John Courtney on the piano. He won it during the lockdown shows when we had no audience, bless him I think that's the only one we've had, isn't it?"

Then came Dec's hilarious mistake: "Amanda's had a winner, Sydney Sweeney. Not Sydney Sweeney...Sydnie Christmas!" as the pair giggled between themselves. Ant then joked: "If Sydney Sweeney was on the show we'd remember!"

Dec laughed and responded: "Sydney Sweeney has never done Britain's Got Talent," as Ant fired another joke to his BGT co-star: "And she's your screensaver as well, you've got to stop!"

Catch Ant and Dec during the Britain's Got Talent live final, which is airing Saturday 30 May at 7pm on ITV1 and ITVX. In the final are drone artists Celestial and The Hawkstone Farmers Choir, a group that were originally formed to promote Jeremy Clarkson's beer.

Magician Rafferty Coope won the public vote in the fourth semi-final and will be joining Simon Cowell's Golden Buzzer choice Sonny Green, a poet who wrote about his relationship with his sons.

Comedian Ted Hill, KSI's Golden Buzzer Liwei Yang, dance troupe Sadeck Berrabah & LMA, another magician named Fabian Fox, Amanda Holden's Golden Buzzer Matty Juniosa and dog act Anastasia and Salsa are all heading to the final. The winner will win a whopping 250,000 and secure a spot at the Royal Variety Performance.
