Big Brother's George Gilbert exposes real reason he was booted from ITV house

Former Big Brother 2025 contestant George Gilbert, who was removed from the house on 6 October, has shared a video hoping to shed some light on the situation

George was axed from the 2025 series on Monday 6 October

Big Brother star George Gilbert has shared the truth behind what lead him to be removed from the ITV house.

The 23-year-old was warned by Big Brother himself before he was reportedly given the boot due to "unacceptable language and behaviour".

Gilbert, who works as a parish councillor, posted a video on his YouTube channel addressing the incident.

He told viewers: "Well here we are. I didn't want to be making this video. I didn't think I would have to make this video but the people want to know what it was that I said to get booted out of the Big Brother house."

George was a controversial figure on the show from the first episode

"It's a real shame because I was thoroughly enjoying myself and I'm gutted that it has ended like this. I got on so well with the crew and the other housemates. They all loved me and I'm not even joking, they genuinely did."

George said that he and his co-stars "had some great times, great conversations and great debates passively," and claimed that they had "agreed to disagree" on certain topics. The former ITV contestant said that he was "absolutely gutted" to be removed from the show.

He also posted a video on his Instagram page that showed him sitting in his garden without any shoes on. George leaned close and asked the camera: "I was asking questions, I just want to know the truth, you know?"

The reality TV star quoted Albert Einstein in the caption and wrote: "The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing."

Fans were left begging to know what George had done as one person wrote: "Just tell us what you said, we all want to know." Another typed: "I just wanna know what you said that was so bad."

After the news of his ejection was made public a Big Brother spokesperson said: "Following repeated use of unacceptable language and behaviour, George has been removed from the Big Brother House with immediate effect and will no longer participate in the programme."

ITV did not air the comments that were made as they did not reach broadcasting standards.
