Coronation Street spoilers for next week have revealed two brand new characters joining the cobbles.

In upcoming scenes, soap watchers will be introduced to paramedic Sienna Milburn's mother, Sadie, and Tim Metcalfe's cousin Richie, who he hasn't seen in years.

Sienna, who was initially paired with paramedic trainee Asha Alahan in 2025, has appeared sporadically on the ITV soap ever since.

In scenes this week, Asha prepares for her first date with Sienna. However, it soon appears Sienna is distracted as she gets phone calls and later in the week things take a dramatic turn when Asha's ex Nina Lucas accuses Sienna of stealing her cash...

In spoilers for next week, Debbie Webster, who has been diagnosed with early onset vascular dementia, offers to help a woman named Sadie who is looking for her daughter, but is taken aback when Sadie snaps at her.

Later, Sienna rushes over to her mum on the street but Sadie doesnt recognise her and lashes out. Sienna rejects Asha's offer of help and gently leads her mum away.

Debbie watches, horrified to realise this is a glimpse into her own future. Later in the week, Asha and Sienna discuss her mum's dementia and various care options, looking into nursing homes.

Meanwhile, Tim is surprised to pick up his cousin Richie, who he hasn't seen in years, as a fare in the precinct.

With wife Sally away, Tim invites Richie over for drinks with the lads. As Tim and Richie reminisce about their childhood, Tim's best friend Steve McDonald feels excluded.

After the lads leave, Richie confides in Tim about his unhappy marriage. Tim offers him a place to stay for the night, and Richie accepts. However, what will Sally say...

The role of Sadie is being played by actress Elizabeth Rider. Elizabeth, 68, has been in several television shows and films over the years. The actress is best known for playing DCC Andrea Wise in Line of Duty from 2019 to 2021.

Other roles include Judge Isobel Cavendish in Showtrial, Lady Justice Spencer in Informer, Mrs. Betts in Lady Chatterley's Lover, Peggy in Call the Midwife, Maureen Smith in Waking the Dead, Helen Braithwaite in At Home with the Braithwaites and Nurse Jill Green in EastEnders - to name just a few.

Meanwhile, the role of Tim's cousin Richie is being played by actor Nathan Sussex. Nathan, 51, is best known for playing Buster Smith in Hollyoaks from 2018 to 2021. Other roles include The Good Ship Murder, Believe Me, and Midsomer Murders - to name just a few.

Coronation Street airs weeknights at 8:30pm on ITV and ITV X.
