Soap star Katie Hill was rushed to the hospital after injuring herself while renovating her house. The 23-year-old, who is best known for playing Sarah Dingle in Emmerdale, went to A&E after stepping on a nail.
Taking to her Instagram story, Katie shared a photo of her false nails, which had begun growing out. She told followers: "This may be a long shot, but are there any nail techs in Leeds that could fit me in either tomorrow or Wednesday?
"Message me if so! Had to cancel my appointment due to stepping on a nail and having to go to A&E. House renovation going well!"
Katie captioned the pic: "This is what we're working with," and a face-palm emoji. She later confirmed that she had managed to sort herself an appointment, writing: "Thanks everyone who reached out, much appreciated!"
Earlier this year, Katie sadly announced that her beloved dog Millie had died at the age of 16. She said at the time: "Our little Millie moo, the best dog ever. 16 years of loving you, life won't be the same without you.
"I'll never forget all the beautiful memories we made. Sleep tight little baby, we will miss you so much and love you forever."
Actress Katie has been involved in plenty of high-profile storylines on Emmerdale so far this year - and this week it was confirmed that she was Dr Todd's killer after discovering she had raped her gran Charity.
Sarah pushed her over, causing her to hit her head on a table corner, but Charity decided to take the fall for the incident to protect her granddaughter - after Dr Todd nearly revealed that baby Leyla is not Sarah's, and instead is daughter to Charity and Ross.
