Saturdays icon Mollie King and sporting husband Stuart Broad have landed a huge new gig together as a couple. The pair have announced they are joining the cast of Celebrity Gogglebox for the next season.
Initially running as a series of charity specials, Celebrity Gogglebox has now become its own show, with some of the country's biggest stars settling down to watch the week's TV. Some big names have appeared on the show, such as One Direction's Louis Tomlinson, Little Mix's Perrie Edwards and Jamie Dornan.
Now, Mollie and Stuart have confirmed they are joining the cast of the hit Channel 4 show. The pair admitted it was fantastic to be a part of the show and also get to see each other more due to their hectic work lives.
"Hey, it's Mollie and Stuart," the pair said in a joint statement. "We have been on the sofa watching loads of TV, The Good, The Bad And The Ugly."
Molly, 39, herself revealed: "Getting to do Celebrity Gogglebox with Stuart was such a lovely experience. Between juggling busy schedules, there's nothing I enjoy more than switching off together in front of the TV, so it felt really special to share a little bit of that with viewers.
"We had so many laughs filming it and, although I can't promise we agreed on every programme, we had the best time," she added. Cricketing star Stuart, 40, added: "Celebrity Gogglebox was a genuinely enjoyable experience and a chance to show what Mollie and I are really like when the remote control is up for grabs."
He also said: "We had plenty of opinions, a few disagreements and a lot of laughs along the way." Mollie and Stuart are now the latest couple to join the cast of the show as a slew of fresh faces are added to the current line-up.
A number of other hit stars have already signed up, including ex-Love Island star Olivia Attwood and her mum, as well as Vogue Williams and her podcast co-host Joanne McNally.
Content creator turned Strictly legend George Clarke has also signed up for the show, working together with ex-I'm A Celebrity Australia star Max Balegde. Meanwhile, comedy legend Julian Clary will make a return to the small screen, being joined by Gogglebox regular Nigel Havers.
Celebrity Gogglebox airs on Friday at 9pm on Channel 4.
