The winner of I'm A Celebrity South Africa has been announced. It comes after a tumultuous final night filled with interruptions and tension.

Viewers watched in their millions as Adam Thomas was crowned the winner of the second all-stars series of the ITV reality show. After a nail-biting top 3 made up of Adam, Sir Mo Farah and Harry Redknapp, fans made their decision on who should come out top.

The decision came after a brutal last week on the show, which saw a horrific feud erupt between ex-Emmerdale star Adam and former footballer Jimmy Bullard. Fans have been quick to slam David's behaviour during the live final, including an awkward run-in with hosts Ant and Dec.

Adam was declared the winner, as Sir Mo finished second, with Harry Redknapp being announced as having finished in third place. Corrie legend Craig Charles, who openly wept on Friday morning (April 24) over the row between Adam and Jimmy, ultimately finished fourth.

But the crowning moment wasnt without tension after a huge on-screen row between most of the cast. Both Sinitta and Gemma Collins stormed off stage whilst hosts Ant and Dec found themselves arguing with David Haye and Jimmy Bullard.

This season was plagued with feuds and disagreements, with celebs being pitted against each other in trials and in camp itself. The show was caught up in controversy as many campmates were left stunned at David Haye's "ugly duckling" theory.

His viewpoint was later branded "sexist" by his fellow campmates, as well as the viewing public, who lashed out at the professional boxer, alleging him to be a misogynist. David's partner Sian would later break her silence on the issue, saying she found the debates surrounding what he said to be funny.

Things then took a turn when Corrie icon Bev Callard had to withdraw from the show due to health-related reasons. This would ultimately help to give her a heartbreaking breast cancer diagnosis, which she bravely revealed earlier this year.

However, the main drama came following a brutal row between Adam and Jimmy, after Jimmy decided to throw in the towel and withdraw from the show. Having paired up with Jimmy, Adam recognised he could be going home as a result of Jimmy's actions causing him to become irate and launch a tirade against Jimmy.

The camp would ultimately be split over who they believed was right in the fight, though the public would give their backing to Adam. This would eventually spill out onto the live final, with Ant and Dec trying to calm down the stars of the show as Jimmy and David gave their side of the story.

Jimmy would go on to claim that what he endured from Adam was "abusive" and "aggressive". However, hosts Ant and Dec would eventually step in and say that what was said was not deemed to be abusive nor agressive, but rather unbroadcastable.

Tensions would grow high once again during the heated chat, with stars Sinitta and Gemma Collins walking off set during the awkward chat. The crowd would ultimately boo and jeer at David and Jimmy for their remarks towards Adam, as David claimed the show had been "edited" for him to win.
