ITV Emmerdale spoilers see worrying Kev update and it's bad news for Aaron

Emmerdale recently welcomed newcomer Kev Townsend as the estranged husband of Robert Sugden in a huge twist.

Kev, played by Chris Coghill, moved to the village on Monday following serving time in prison alongside Robert, where the two married while inside.

With the two prisoners now free, Kev is hoping the pair will now live in wedded bliss in the village.

Currently, Kev, who wants to keep his sexuality private for the time being, is staying with Claudette and Charles Anderson as part of the prison outreach programme.

However, Robert has been left panicked by his estranged husband's return especially as he has only just rekindled things with his ex-husband Aaron Dingle.

Robert is keeping his marriage to Kev a secret, telling Aaron, who has been suspicious over Kev, that he is just an ex-cellmate.

However, things are set to take an explosive turn in upcoming spoilers... as Aaron sees Kev kissing Robert in public.

In spoilers next week, Aaron returns home and is pressured by Chas Dingle to apologise to Vinny Dingle and discuss his fight with Robert. Shortly after, when unpacking, Vinny ignores Aaron and leaves.

Over on Main Street, Kev watches Aaron furious knowing that he broke the news of his marriage to the village. Tensions rise at the cafe between Aaron and Robert as DS Carter arrives looking for Kev to question about an attack on an old friend.

Later, at the Woolpack, Aaron's apology to Vinny is accepted, but the peace is soon shattered by Robert and Kev's arrival.

Things go from bad to worse when Aaron's resolve breaks when it becomes clear Robert has told Kev about his past with Gordon, leaving Chas to comfort her heartbroken son.

When returning to Mill Flat later, Aaron is confronted by Kev, who delivers a chilling death threat if Aaron doesnt leave him and Robert alone.

The next day, Robert bumps into Aaron and is left troubled to learn about Kevs death threats. Over at the pub, Robert questions Kev about his threats and things quickly get heated especially when Aaron arrives.

Later, Aaron confides in Mack Boyd about his worries with Kev to which Mack decides to fight Aaron's corner. However, how will Kev react?

Emmerdale airs weekdays on ITV and ITVX at 7.30pm
