A old clip of Jimmy Bullard slamming fellow I'm A Celebrity Jake Quickenden as a "p****" has resurfaced.

Former footballer Jimmy, 47, has been at the centre of a brutal bullying row with fellow I'm A Celeb South Africa campmate Adam Thomas, 37. Tensions eventually boiled over as the live finale descended into chaos with Jimmy and co-star David Haye claiming Adam was being made out to be the victim.

But whilst the nation ultimately crowned Adam the winner of the show, Jimmy has continued to suffer at the hands of the public, who hit back at his claims Adam's tirade against him was "aggressive and intimidating". Now, old clips of previous behaviour from Jimmy has resurfaced.

Several fans have pointed out that when Jimmy first walked onto the ITV reality show in 2014, his actions were not always exemplary. In one unearthed clip, the star went on to mock singer Jake Quickenden for not deserving to be in the line-up.

In the clip, which has since gone viral on social media, Jimmy can be heard saying: "The more I'm getting to know you, the more I'm thinking what the f*** is this pr*** doing in here? What's he offering? Like what, why the f*** are you in here? What are you? What sort of skill have you got?

"World champ, fair enough. Professional footy player," he fumed. "What the f*** have you done? Picked a mic up?"

Jimmy would later clarify that these comments were made as part of "banter" between the two stars. Jake, for his part, awkwardly smiled as he quietly admitted: "I don't even know why I'm here myself."

The clip soon started reaching fans of the show, who continued to berate Jimmy for his words. One user said: "I loved him when he was in it last time but completely forgot about how he was with Jake ?!? Omg it's awful"

A second added: "Belittling and knowing it's causing upset is bullying not banter." Meanwhile a third did jump to Jimmy's defence, saying: "This was genuinely two mates giving each other the kind banter you get around football changing rooms.

"If you've never been around that you wouldn't get it. Jake clearly didn't take this the way Adam seems to have from David."

Meanwhile, Jimmy's current row with Adam has rumbled on, despite Adam apologising to Jimmy for his expletive-laden rant during last week's show. Jimmy has insisted that Adam's behaviour was "abusive", even drawing Ant and Dec into the row.
