ITV viewers have just realised why Love Island favourite Ellie Chadwick seems so familiar.

The 24-year-old videographer has been in the villa since day one, and it's been a turbulent journey. She initially paired up with original boy Aidan Murphy, before shifting her attention to Aidan's brother Kavan.

Neither of those relationships panned out, leading her to bombshell Tommy Murphy. When that connection fizzled out, Ellie finally found a promising spark with newcomer Finley Maddock.

Fans quickly started rooting for the new pair and they were even tipped to win, until Finley's head was turned by bombshell Elicia Bailey. Ellie and Finley have now found their way back to each other.

While viewers have been fully engrossed in Ellie's love triangles, many have been distracted by her likeness to former Islander Molly-Mae Hague, reports OK!.

One viewer recently posted a side-by-side image of the two on TikTok, captioning it: "Am I the only one who sees this?".

It appears others have had the exact same thought, with over 106K fans liking the video. Joining the comments section, someone agreed: "I've been saying this since day one! ! ! ! !".

Another person chimed in: "Finally, I thought the same thing! ! ! ," while a third added: "YESSSS 100% I'VE BEEN SAYING THIS TO MYSELF THE WHOLE WEEK I'M GLAD I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE."

Yet another fan concurred: "I think she looks so much like Molly Mae," with a fourth viewer adding: "Twins!!!! I thought this from the first second."

Molly-Mae, 27, featured in Series 5 of the dating programme and subsequently became one of the most successful Islanders.

She has since launched her own reality series titled Behind it All, offering fans a unique insight into her personal and professional life.

Despite being a crowd-pleaser, Ellie has allegedly left Love Island ahead of the final. ITV has yet to verify the reality star's departure and the reason behind her premature exit.
