One Love Island pair were abruptly asked to exit the villa in heart-wrenching scenes.

This followed the most recent public vote where viewers were invited to select their favourite duo. The remaining islanders had previously been prompted to share their candid views on each other, including who they believed were the least compatible.

Maya Jama revealed that those with the highest votes would be left in a precarious position. Consequently, Aidan and Priya, Mica and Samraj as well as Lorenzo and Julia found themselves teetering on the edge of a harsh departure just days before Monday's live final (July 27).

In tonight's episode (July 24), audiences watched as the much-anticipated results were unveiled. That evening, the Islanders gathered for a special Last Supper, reminiscing about their Love Island journeys and the memories they've created together.

The group was seen all dolled up as the lads lined up to greet each girl as they emerged. One by one, they each delivered speeches about their experiences over dinner, reports OK!

However, the celebrations were abruptly halted by the sound of a text message. Simba was the first to read out a message reminding everyone who was at risk of an untimely exit.

Jasmine then announced: "The public have been voting to save their favourite couple." But it fell to Kavan to deliver the blow.

He confirmed that Priya and Aidan were ousted from the island, forced to bid farewell and leave immediately.

As they bid their goodbyes, Priya told the girls: "I feel numb, this doesn't feel real." Meanwhile Aidan thanked the boys and battled to keep his emotions in check.

It wasn't long before fans took to social media to share their reactions to the latest dumping. One viewer posted: "Aidan is easily one of the most chaotic contestants ever."

Another chimed in: "As annoying as Priya was she was definitely a great addition to this season." Someone else wrote: "Priya aww her goodbye speech was so sweet. I love sisterhood island."

While one person remarked: "It was Aidan and Priya time to go. Aidan lasted way longer than expected." And a viewer responded: "Realistically they're going to see these people in 4 days lol but this is very cute."
