Love Island star's DMs exposed as beauty asked co-star for 'nudes' before entering villa

EXCLUSIVE: A Love Island star has lifted the lid on some cheeky pre-villa DMs after revealing a fellow contestant jokingly asked for 'nudes' long before they met on the ITV show

Tommy and Tina's DM messages revealed

A Love Island star has revealed the cheeky Instagram messages that were exchanged before entering the villa including one playful request for "nudes".

Despite fans becoming convinced Tina Rad and Tommy Murphy could be more than friends after leaving the ITV dating show, they insist there's no romance on the cards, even if social media users are desperate to see them together.

Speaking exclusively to the Daily Star, the duo laughed off the dating rumours after being quizzed about their close friendship and the endless TikTok videos fuelling speculation. Asked about fans "shipping" them together, the pair were quick to shut down any suggestions of a romance, with Tommy adding: "No, we're just friends. Tommy loves women too much. I don't want to be the tenth one"

However, things took a hilarious turn when they admitted they'd actually spoken on Instagram long before stepping foot inside the Love Island villa.

But the biggest surprise came when the conversation turned to exactly what had been said. "You don't want to know what I said," Tina laughed.

Without missing a beat, Tommy interrupted: "She asked me for nudes." Immediately bursting into laughter, the Love Island beauty hid her face and said she was "joking".

Explaining herself, she insisted the message wasn't meant seriously. "I literally just popped up saying 'nudes'. But guys, I swear I was joking."

Fortunately, the cheeky request didn't result in any explicit pictures being exchanged. Asked how he responded, the Islander revealed: "I didn't send any." Instead, he jokingly fired back: "You first."

The flirty exchange quickly fizzled out after that, with both agreeing the messages never developed into anything serious.

"It dried up, didn't it?" Tommy admitted.

The conversation soon moved on, with the pair recalling bumping into one another at the gym before either of them appeared on Love Island.

While Tommy joked she had been keeping an eye on him, Tina quickly denied it. "Oh my God, I was not," she laughed.

Although fans continue to speculate there's more to their friendship, the pair insisted they remain just good mates.
