Gabby Allen has conquered Celebrity SAS' brutal physical challenges, but the reality star hasn't lost sight of the more subtle struggles of villa life on Love Island.
Following eight gruelling episodes, the 33-year-old became one of three women to survive the SAS course - standing alongside fellow reality personality Dani Dyer and Olympic swimmer Emily Seebohm.
This impressive achievement wouldn't surprise anyone who's watched Gabby absolutely nail every test thrown her way in recent times. Just last year, the Liverpudlian triumphed in Love Island All Stars' second series alongside her former flame, Casey O'Gorman.
Though Gabby has well and truly moved on from her Love Island chapter, she still watches the programme and recognises the unseen pressures that contestants face, reports OK!
Speaking to the Daily Star, Gabby revealed that audiences might not grasp just how overwhelming the reality programme can become. She highlighted a particularly explosive challenge from this week's All Stars episode, which reduced Sean Stone to tears.
"I think people at home probably think 'Oh, it's not that deep,'" Gabby began.
"But when you're in there, that is all you know. You don't think about the outside world. It's your own little bubble and everything is so heightened. Your emotions are higher and the stakes are higher because nobody wants to go home."
During the game, fellow Islander Scott Van-der-Sluis branded Sean as "snakey" and accused him of "stirring the pot" in the villa. This sparked a fiery row in which an emotional Sean alleged that Scott had been bullying him from day one.
ITV viewers found themselves split over the bust-up, with some backing Sean whilst others believed he'd blown things out of proportion during the game. But as Gabby went on to reveal, there's far more pressure inside the villa than audiences might realise.
She shared: "Nobody wants to be disliked, so it's a lot of pressure in there. When something bad happens to you, it can feel humiliating."
The experienced TV personality then pointed out that viewers don't witness every chat the Islanders have, meaning they could miss crucial rows that might have ramped up tensions among the cast.
"There's always a reason why you would react like that or have those emotions," she added.
Whilst she shows understanding towards the current bunch of ITV stars, Gabby has made it abundantly clear that her Love Island chapter is firmly closed.
The former dancer's attention has lately been on her fitness venture, Shape Up with Gabby. The fitness brand offers workouts and meal plans specifically designed for each client's requirements.
As for her next telly project, Gabby is due to feature on the forthcoming 15th series of Celebs Go Dating.
Catch Gabby in Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins now streaming on Channel 4.
Love Island: All Stars continues on ITV2 and ITVX tonight at 9pm.
