Love Island's Tanyel would 'love to meet Piers Morgan' as she gushes over 'honesty'

Love Island's Tanyel Revan is one of the first islanders heading into the South African villa this series - and as it all gets underway, she's got her sights set on big things

Love Island's Tanyel Revan has set her sights on the one man she would love to meet - but he won't be in the villa.

The islanders are all getting ready to go into the Love Island 2023 villa set in South Africa, and as they think about what is next to come, Tanyel has revealed who she would love to have a dinner party with.

While Channing Tatum is on her list - particularly as her celebrity crush - he's not the person sitting right at the top.

Speaking ahead of going in the villa, Tanyel said her dream dinner party guest is Piers Morgan.

Piers - who has made his dislike for Love Island abundantly clear in the many years its been on air - is the person she would most love to have a conversation with.

Tanyel explained: "I like how direct and honest he is, I think he's so sick. I would love to have a debate with him."

She then explained that after Piers, she would like J.Lo and Channing Tatum to join her at the dinner table, but they're behind Piers in terms of priority.

Piers might not be quite as interested...

However, despite Tanyel wanting to have a chat with Piers, it's unclear whether the Piers Uncensored host could be swayed, with the star famously slamming the show for many years.

Piers has slammed the show, its viewers and its policies in the years it's been on air before brutally calling it "moronic" just last year.

But could Piers be swayed as Tanyel sets her sights on a one-to-one with the TV star? Only time will tell.

Tanyel is one of the many islanders set to enter the villa on January 16 for the second ever instalment of the winter version of the popular TV series.

There are multiple changes put in place for the 2023 series, with a brand new host, Maya Jama, taking the helm after Laura Whitmore's stint.

Aside from this, islanders will also no longer have their social media accounts looked after by friends and family in a fight against online bullying.

The first episode will air on ITV2 and ITVX at 9pm on Monday, January 16.
