Married At First Sight UK star Georges Berthonneau has revealed that his romance with Peggy Rose is going strong and that they are going to tie the knot in real life.

The pair were matched up on last years series of the hit Channel 4 reality show, saying I do in front of the cameras. The course of true love didnt run smooth for the pair and they had a few stumbles during their time in the social experiment, but have stayed together since it wrapped up.

And it seems their relationship has blossomed since they were on the programme and they are now set to double down on their commitment to each other. Georges, 30, even teased that children are on the cards for the couple in the future.

Opening up to Closer magazine, he said: The plan is to have children. He went on: Obviously we've got to stay together, move in together and get engaged.

"She lives at home, I live at mine. I'd have her move in with me, but she has so much stuff."

Last year there were rumours that the couple had called time on their relationship after they seemed to go a bit quiet on their socials and were not snapped out and about together much. However, Peggy later explained that there was a reason for it.

The 32-year-old beauty said that they had laid low on social media for a bit because they needed some much needed quality time after Married At First Sight came to an end. And she confirmed they were still together.

The gossip about a possible split cranked up again after it was reported that they hadnt spent New Years Day together. But a source told the Mirror at the time that they were still an item and that Georges was looking forward to the year ahead with his bride.

Georges is still very much with Peggy and at the moment they are navigating the reality of a relationship outside of the show, they said. Georges spends as much time with Peggy as he can, whilst being sure to spend time with his friends and family, added the insider.
