Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard have been hit with some tough words as fans of This Morning took to social media on Friday.
With Alison Hammond absent, regular Friday host Dermot O'Leary was joined by Josie Gibson, with many viewers suggesting they'd make a better full time pairing than the recently appointed Cat and Ben,who host Monday to Thursday.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), one user wrote: "#thismorning literally 5 mins in and the difference between these 2 and boring Cat and Ben is wow, what were they thinking." Another agreed: "Sorry but even Dermot makes Ben look boring."

A third added: "Today's show is so much better without Cat Deeley and Ben Sheppard. #ThisMorning." A fourth said: "Cat Deeley was fine as a tv presenter on children's tv but she seems so safe and bland now, Ben is ok but safe. The show needed a full revamp #ThisMorning."
There was further praise, reports the Express, for Dermot, 50, and Josie, 39 as one fan gushed: "I've laughed more in the last half an hour than I have all week! thank god for Josie and Dermot #ThisMorning."
Josie had been in the frame to land the role vacated by Holly Willoughby in October. Mum-of-three Holly departed the ITV show after a plot to kidnap and murder her was foiled by police.
In the months that followed, the broadcaster's bosses trialed several famous faces as well as Josie in the hot seat including Craig Doyle, Sian Welby and Rylan Clark. In February, however, it finally reached its decision, with Good Morning Britain's Ben and former CD:UK star Cat offered the job permanently. The pair took over on 11 March.
Last week it was reported that Josie was left "gutted" and "hurt" at being overlooked. As well as referring to the Bristolian's disappointment, a TV insider also revealed Alison - who is taking a month-long holiday - was offered the job but turned it down because she "doesn't want the responsibility".
The source told OK!: "Alison was offered the full-time gig on This Morning, but she didn't want it. She loves being on the show, but doesn't want the pressure of being the main host. She's busy with other projects like Love of Dogs and Bake Off, and isn't worried about being overshadowed. She's happy just hosting one day a week."
"Josie is really upset that she wasn't given the job. She was tipped as the new Holly, but that didn't happen. She's hurt by the decision," the insider added.
