A Place in the Sun buyer says 'I've seen enough' and shuts down property tour minutes in

A Place in the Sun viewers watched the awkward moment the buyer shut down the tour, telling host Jasmine Harman he didn't want to bother seeing the rest of the house

A Place in The Sun: Buyers unimpressed with house

A Place in the Sun viewers watched a buyer shut down a property tour just minutes in.

The Channel 4 show took an awkward turn on Monday's episode (January 13), which saw host Jasmine Harman try to find Richard his dream home in Sitges, Spain. But sadly, he became the latest buyer to snub a property viewing before the tour was over.

Richard had a budget of 210,000 and had been shown three properties by Jasmin before the tour of the fourth house, which didn't go too well. Richard, joined by pal Peter, liked the sea view from the top of the property.

However, it was what was inside the property that seemed to be the problem, and Peter had no issue pointing it out. He said: "It's got the sea view but it shows that the sea view maybe isn't everything. I cant see beyond what I know is downstairs. It's certainly not Richard".

When Jasmine asked the pair if they wanted to view the rest of the house, Richard declared: "I think I've seen enough. I think that this property isn't for me." Jasmine was quick to wrap up the tour and suggested they head back to the car.

It seems viewers agreed with Richard and Peter and slammed the property on X, formerly Twitter. One wrote: "Jesus Christ Run away - some sketchy stuff has happened in that living room 100%."

Another penned: "It's horrible from the outside," and a third added: "I don't think it's right for many people... It was awful!".

Just when their property search seemed to be looking unsuccessful, Jasmine revealed a fifth and final option that became a strong contenter. At 251,000, it was slightly above Richard's budget, but the modern Spanish apartment impressed him.

One viewer said the living room looked "sketchy"(Image: A Place in the Sun/Channel 4)

However, after sleeping on it, Richard told Jasmine that his primary concern with the property was its lack of sunlight. This reservation ultimately led him to decide against making an offer.

One fan commented: "I think for me I would love that property in the shade. I can enjoy the sun but relax in a lovely calm space."

Meanwhile, another viewer joked Richard and Peter were simply there for the complimentary orange juice they drank with Jasmine. They quipped: "So they're orange juice thieves after all. Disappointing because they seemed nice.
