One of the biggest reality TV stars of all time has opened up about her impressive five stone weight loss journey after she was questioned about "when her baby was due," despite not being pregnant.
Chantelle is best known for her iconic stint on the reality TV show Celebrity Big Brother. She entered the house during season four and pretended to be a famous singer in the fictional girl group Kandy Floss, successfully fooling her co-stars and going on to take home the crown.
The TV star has recently undergone an incredible weight loss transformation, losing five stone thanks to being strict with her diet and limiting her sugar intake.
She recently spoke exclusively to Daily Star and when asked what spurred her on to start her weight loss journey, Chantelle explained: "What really sparked it for me was that I put on a lot of weight during COVID."
I was about five stone overweight. Everywhere I went, people would make comments, asking me when my baby was due or saying: 'Oh my God, I didnt know you were pregnant.'"
"Ive always put weight on around my tummy while my legs and arms stay quite slim, so I understand why people assumed that, but it still wasnt very nice to hear."
Speaking on behalf of Betway, Chantelle continued: "I was wearing clothes that didnt feel like me. Im usually a size 10 or 12, but I was buying a 16, then it crept up to an 18, and I thought: 'Okay, this isnt healthy.'"
"What Ive learned about myself is that I can be slim, healthy and still enjoy food!"
"Before, Id thought food was like the devil."
