Shameless star Tina Malone has revealed she deliberately flashed her stomach in the Celebrity Big Brother house in order to try attract the attention of surgeons.
Tina competed on the show in 2009 when she was a size 32 and was keen to try get some free surgery from her stint in the CBB house.
Speaking exclusively to Daily Star, Tina, 62, spoke exclusively to Daily Star in collaboration with casino.org, about her time on the show and her weight loss journey after dropping down to a size 6 and losing 12 stone.
Tina told us: "We've all got flaws. I went in there thinking, I'm huge. I thought, well, if I show my belly off enough, someone will come along and give me gastric band surgery. Maybe theyll say how bad my teeth were, and they can get fixed. And it worked. So, there you go."
Since the show, Tina has undergone nine surgeries, as well as her gastric band, including operations to remove the excess skin which was left around her stomach area due to her dramatic weight loss.
The TV star has also had skin removed from her arms, neck and thighs, as well as undergoing surgeries on her face. However, she hasn't had anything done recently since before her husband Paul Chase died in March 2024.
Speaking about what work she would like done in the future, she added: "I would like the teeth done again, but I cant justify or afford it at the moment. But also, I would like some fillers, some Botox, which I haven't had since before Paul died. In fact, it was probably two years before Paul died.
"Since Paul died, I don't even get my hair done, unless it's a photoshoot or something. I don't even get my roots done. I don't get my eyebrows done. I don't even get my beard done [laughs]. So yeah, maybe I should."
However, Tina is still keen to look after herself when she can and has found solace in exercising regularly.
She explained: "What I have done this year, though, is exercise regularly. For me, its not about hitting the gym. Id rather do yoga, go for walks, or get out on the field across the road. And more than that, its about doing it together - me and Flame.
"Swimming, cycling, whatever it is, its time we share. Thats what matters. Even if youre just kicking a ball around in the park with your little ones, thats still half an hour of exercise and fresh air."
