Former Love Island favourite Tommy Fury has fired back at supporters after some posed a 'nosy' enquiry about his employment and earnings.
The professional pugilist, sibling of ex-heavyweight champion Tyson Fury and boyfriend of Molly-Mae Hague, has launched a fresh podcast alongside his father John. Despite their familial bond, the duo insist they view the world through entirely contrasting perspectives.
While 27 year old Tommy represents a Gen Z reality personality who concentrates on fitness, wellness, social media and contemporary existence, his father John remains thoroughly traditional. He's characterised more as a blunt-speaking, caravan-dwelling, oat milkdespising 60 year old who believes present-day technology has destroyed everything.
Naturally, they've joined forces for a brand new ten-episode video podcast for the BBC. Episodes will be accessible through the corporation's streaming service iPlayer, BBC Sport's YouTube channel or the BBC Sounds application.
Fresh instalments drop on Tuesdays and Thursdays as viewers can watch Tommy and John settle down face to face and debate the most significant topics and wildest trends of contemporary society, reports OK!
Each episode will see them concentrate on a distinct topic. These encompass children, masculinity, AI, finances, housing, cuisine, romance, holidays and leisure.
They will strive to reach a concluding judgement and discover whether either has swayed the other towards their perspective. In the podcast's inaugural episode, they tackle the topic of gadgets.
Tommy adores contemporary technology but John believes it has conquered the world. From mobile phones to VR headsets, they argue whether tech is enhancing life - or rendering us all more stupid.
In doing so, Tommy flaunts to his father a 4,000 Virtual Reality headset that he was persuaded to purchase. His dad tells him he's squandered his cash and instead reveals his own preferred gadget - a pen knife.
Tommy collapses in fits of giggles as he confesses to his father that he believed the only people who owned pen knives were "like Rambo."
Nevertheless, during one pivotal moment in the episode, Tommy veers off-subject as he conducts an impromptu Instagram live and asks his followers for questions 'on anything'. They pour in but he declines to answer one of them.
He said: "Last one (question), how much do you get paid for Insta posts? Honestly, nosy people around." Tommy gazed into the camera, rather taken aback someone would pose such a question.
Declining to reveal an actual sum or elaborate on anything regarding his career and earnings he responded: "I'm blessed to be in the position that I am and that's all I got to say on that note."
It's been reported that Tommy has earned millions from his bouts against YouTubers including KSI. The Tab claim that he could be earning anywhere up to 39,000 per post on social media thanks to partnerships with brands. However, this is an estimate and unconfirmed.
What the Fury is available on BBC iPlayer, BBC Sport YouTube or listen on BBC Sounds.
