TV personality Vanessa Feltz opened up her love life as she returned to ITV's This Morning.
Last year, the 64-year-old star announced that she had quit the daytime programme, where she often provides her candid takes, but on Monday (August 10), with presenters Andi Peters and Rochelle Humes at the helm, she was back on screen as she took part in the segment, Morning Views.
Sharing her take on a variety of topics alongside guest Ashley James, Vanessa rarely held back but when it came to the topic of age gap relationships, Vanessa admitted that she wouldn't share much from her own personal experience.
Vanessa was previously in a 16-year engagement to singer Ben Ofoedu, who was 10 years her junior. However, their relationship came to an end in February 2023.
As Rochelle probed Vanessa to speak on women dating younger men, the former Channel 5 star said she wouldn't speak on herself. However, she did open up about the sex in the relationship and feeling like a "mother" to an older man, which she "didn't want to be".
She said: "The sex, however, ought to be spirited and energetic at least. But I wonder whether the younger generations lack a little refinement in that area."
The former Celebrity Big Brother housemate added: "I'm only wondering and speculating because I'll never discuss my sex life on television. For a larger fee, I probably would, not for this pathetic amount."
Following the announcement of their split, singer Ben ruled out any possibility of getting back together with his former fiance Vanessa. The former couple called their relationship quits after their romance was rocked by allegations of infidelity.
Ben previously acknowledged that he had betrayed Vanessa's trust after having sex with another woman he met while touring with his band Phats & Small.
TV star Vanessa later opened up about the painful end of their relationship in her memoir, Vanessa Bares All, detailing the events surrounding their split.
Talking to Mail Online at the time, Ben said: "We havent made peace, and I dont speak to her." Regarding her memoir, he added: "She wrote some terrible things about me in her book, and I felt there was no need for it."
It comes after Vanessa confirmed that she's set to following in former This Morning presenter Holly Willoughby's footsteps and create her front her own YouTube show titled At Home With Vanessa.
Filming kicks off this week with the star saying the show is going to be an "adult version" of The Big Breakfast.
This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV1
