The eagerly awaited second series of a popular Marvel superhero comeback show will shortly land on Disney +.

Daredevil Born Again premiered just last year and swiftly became a sensation amongst both supporters and reviewers. It continued from where the original Netflix programme concluded and formally introduced the character to the already crowded Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Its inaugural series managed to achieve an remarkable 87% on website Rotten Tomatoes with its sequel promising to elevate the drama even higher. Particularly as the storyline should connect to the current phase 6 of the MCU and forthcoming Spider-Man film scheduled to reach cinemas this summer.

Season 2's events will witness Mayor Wilson Fisk crushing New York City beneath his heel as he pursues public enemy number one, the Hell's Kitchen vigilante known as Daredevil.

However, behind the horned mask, Matt Murdock will attempt to strike back from the darkness to dismantle the Kingpin's crooked empire and restore his neighbourhood. Resist. Rebel. Rebuild, reports the Mirror.

Heading the ensemble sees Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio return to their characters as Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk respectively. Also coming back are Wilson Bethel and Deborah Ann Woll.

Meanwhile, fresh faces include Matthew Lillard in a villainous capacity as well as Krysten Ritter making her comeback as Jessica Jones, a character she portrayed in one of Netflix's other Marvel television programmes. When does Daredevil Born Again season 2 premiere?

The launch of Daredevil Born Again's second series is set to stream simultaneously in both the UK and the US. However, due to the time difference, this means that UK viewers will need to stay up late to watch it as soon as it becomes available.

Whilst the premiere arrives on March 24 in the States, it will already be the following day, March 25, over here. The first episode will land on the Disney+ platform at approximately 2am UK time. This means that fans won't have a lengthy wait when new titles typically drop onto the service.

When does the next episode of Daredevil Born Again season 2 release?

Disney+ will be releasing the remaining episodes on a daily basis. This means that the eight-part series will air its finale sometime in May.
