BBC Breakfast's Louise Minchin wows in bikini as fans go wild
Louise, who left BBC Breakfast back in 2021, also issued a fresh health update.
Former BBC Breakfast presenter Louise Minchin has posed up a storm in a turquoise bikini while giving a major update on her battle with frostbite. The journalist, 57, took to Instagram today (August 17) to take a dip in the pool, but had to be careful not to actually get her injured foot wet. Instead, she lay back in an inflatable boat while reading a book in the water.
Louise paired her aqua two-piece with a brown sunhat and shades, taking some time to sunbathe on the side of the pool while grinning up at the camera, a pair of white Crocs by her side. Bandages were visible on her left foot, as Louise added glitzy bracelets and rings to her ensemble.
She explained: Of all the summers not to be able to swim because of my still healing frostbitten toes, 2026 has been challenging, but after some testing Ive discovered a way to be in the water without being in the water, its not as easy as it looks in the first photo!
But I was very pleased I managed to match my bikini, to my book and my lilo!
Fans were left gushing over Louises new picture in the comments section, with one writing: Haha brilliant, I love the colour coordination.
Another echoed: Excellent matching all round! Hope the recovery continues well.

Louise developed frostbite while raising money for the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme during a bike ride in the Arctic Circle. Temperatures dipped to -40C, and Louise was forced to stop the challenge after frostbite affected her fingers and toes.
She said earlier this year: My thumb is not so good and my toes are not so good. So it's a journey and it's a bit like a rollercoaster. You don't quite know what the highs and the lows [are]."
