The Highway Code is a set of rules for road users in the UK. It applies to everyone that uses the road, including pedestrians, horse riders, and cyclists. The Highway Code is set by the Department for Transport, as well as the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency. A major update to the Code was made in January 2022.
