Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor - formerly known as Prince Andrew, Duke of York - is Queen Elizabeth II’s second-born son. He was married to Sarah Ferguson before their 1996 divorce and is Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie's father. Following criticism for his association with Epstein, Andrew stepped back from public duties in 2020. His honorary military affiliations and royal charitable patronages were removed by the late Queen in January 2022. After further scandals, Buckingham Palace announced that he would no longer be able to use his Duke of York title in public and later announced that the King had moved to strip his younger brother of all his remaining royal titles and styles. From October 2025, he became known as Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.
