The Range Rover is a 4x4 luxury SUV which is a sub-brand of Jaguar Land Rover. 

Range Rovers have faced criticism from people who say they are unnecessarily large to be in urban areas and have a particularly bad environmental impact, whether through local air pollution or global climate change contributions.

One of the designers of the original Range Rover, Spen King, has criticised urban dwellers who use them, saying they were never intended for cities. Critics say they take up space that could be used for other things, like trees or bike lanes.
