The incident comes just days after a stolen vehicle rammed into a Garda car during a "containment operation" in Dublin.
Two officers were taken to hospital following the incident and have subsequently been released.
The car was stolen during a burglary in Santry on Monday, August 10.
Cops then discovered the car shortly before midnight on Tuesday. Garda from the DMR West Roads policing unit, along with the Blanchardstown and Meath South Community Engagement, began a "managed containment operation" at the Ward.
At this point, the stolen car collided with the patrol car and the suspects fled on foot.
