The main route through central Manchester, Deansgate is one of the city's oldest thoroughfares and runs from the south of the city centre to the north. It is home to landmark buildings and businesses including John Rylands Library, Manchester Cathedral, the Beetham Tower, Spinningfields and Kendals department store.
