Wythenshawe Park is one of the largest and oldest parks in Manchester. Steeped in history, it is home to the Tudor mansion Wythenshawe Hall, owned by the Tatton family since the 1300s.The park was bought by Lord and Lady Simon in 1926 and bequeathed to local people just as the council was building Wythenshawe as a Garden City.
