Ed Miliband has been MP for Doncaster North since 2005 and serves as Secretary of State for Energy Security and Net Zero in Keir Starmer's Cabinet.

He was Labour leader from 2010 until 2015, when he stepped down after Labour's disastrous election defeat.

Miliband returned to the Shadow Cabinet in April 2020, when he was appointed Shadow Business, Energy and Industrial Secretary by Keir Starmer.
