Paul is a former professional footballer known for playing for Arsenal for 11 seasons
He also played for England 21 times and still plays for England Legends. Since his retirement from professional football Merson has presented the Sky Sports TV programme Fantasy Football Club.
He has also starred in several reality TV shows, including being crowned the champion of Celebs On The Farm. Merson has been married three times and has eight children. Despite spending most of professional career at Arsenal, Merson has been a lifelong Chelsea fan.
He has been named as one of the celebs taking part in the 2024 series of Strictly Come Dancing.
