Twice a La Liga winner at Valencia, the Spaniard's Anfield reign was followed by a brief spell at Inter Milan. He returned to the Premier League and managed Chelsea as they won the Europa League, before moving on to Italy's Napoli and Spanish giants Real Madrid, where he lasted less than a season. Began a third Premier League stint when he took over relegation-threatened Newcastle in March 2016.
