As parents know, the back to school rush can quickly become expensive, especially if you have to buy new uniforms and shoes because theyre growing so quickly. But to help parents keep costs down and make it more affordable to get them ready for a new term, Tu at Sainsburys has just launched a great offer on all of its school uniforms.

For this weekend only, you can pick up all of your kids uniform essentials like shirts, jumpers, dresses, skirts and trousers with 15% off, which means prices can be as low as 1.70 per item. The offer ends on Monday August 17 with the discount already applied before you checkout, and is only available online.

Most of Tus uniforms come in sizes from two years old up to 12 years old, and the sale includes adaptable pieces like trousers with hems you can let down as they grow, as well as school shoes and PE kit staples. One of the best bargains is the 2 Pack of Unisex Royal Blue Sweatshirts , which are a simple 80% cotton sweatshirt material which stay comfortable and soft for longer. The sweatshirts are now just 3.40 for sizes up to six years old, 5.10 for ages seven to 10, and 6.80 for 11 to 12 year olds that means youll be paying as little as 1.70 per jumper.

The Grey Woven Trousers with Reinforced Knees & Extendable Hem are now starting at 5.95 for a pack of two, with sizes from three to 16 years. The trousers are stain-resistant, have reinforced knees to stop them getting ripped from playtime, and have permanent sharp creases down the front to keep them looking smarter.

Their biggest draw, however, is that theyve been designed to grow with your little one so you dont have to keep replacing them every time they have a growth spurt. The hems are easy to unpick to add extra length when needed, and the waistbands are adjustable for all-day comfort and a perfect fit.

Tus Grey Permanent Pleat Skirts are also designed in the same way, with stain-resistant teflon coating, permanent pleats for a smart look, and an adjustable waistband that grows with them. The two-pack of these now also starts at 5.95, with ages three to 16 covered.

School uniforms have been landing online elsewhere too, including Marks & Spencer which has a whole host of different coloured uniform essentials available. Next is also the place to shop if you want to buy your uniforms in multiples, with five packs of shirts, trousers, socks, polo tops and shorts all available to buy.
