Disney+ is getting ready to unnerve viewers with a deep dive into some of Britain's most notorious crime investigations. And the best news for true crime fans it that you don't have long to wait at all. The organisation has shone a light on some of the most astonishing stories in history to create a six-part docuseries, and it'll be available from Thursday, July 30 - all six episodes!

The series, titled 20/20 Britains Most Notorious Crime Investigations, reopens six of the most chilling and high-profile cases in the UK as ABC News legendary 20/20 heads away from the states for the first time. Among the disturbing cases includes Ben Field, the charming young churchwarden who was accused of seducing older people into signing over their estates.

Joanna Yeates' case is also looked into, after she went missing on a freezing night in Bristol. And in another missing persons case, the investigation into missing tot Ben Needham, who disappeared while on a family holiday in 1991 is the focus of the first episode.

Each episode takes viewers on a 40-minute investigative journey featuring archival footage, fresh insights, and exclusive interviews.

Ben Needham: Lost in Paradise

Episode one of the series looks at what could have happened to missing tot Ben Needham. The then-21-month-old boy disappeared without a trace in 1991. He had been on a Greek paradise holiday in Kos with his family when he suddenly was nowhere to be seen.

The search for the youngster leads his family into the murky world of child-trafficking as well as suspected burial sites and a prison confession. But they are still hoping to find the truth over 30 years on.

Joanna Yeates: The Killer Next Door

The second episode focuses on another missing person case. But, sadly, on this occasion in 2010 any glimmer of hope of a reunion was dashed after her body was found.

Joanna Yeates was 25 when she went missing on a frozen Bristol night, with her walk home captured on flickering CCTV. She had been on an evening out with colleagues.

When her body was found, the hunt for a killer turned a quiet street into a labyrinth of suspicion, where the most dangerous person may be the one living next door. It led to police arresting her neighbour, Vincent Tabak.

Ben Field: Thou Shalt Not Kill

Ben Field was convicted in 2019 of murdering university lecturer Peter Farquhar and defrauding his neighbour Ann Moore-Martin. At the time, Field was a deputy churchwarden in Buckinghamshire.

A race began to discover whether he was a killer after he was found to have manipulated the pair through fake romantic relationships and altered their wills.

He was sentenced to minimum of 36 years in prison - but there was a twist earlier this year. Was all as it seemed?

Detectives investigating the murder of Angelika Kluk in 2006 soon turned their attention to a seemingly quiet church handyman. AS they looked into her death, a serial killer who had remained hidden in plain sight for decades became clear. Peter Tobin was linked to multiple murders across the UK in a stunning twist to detectives.

Jane Andrews: The Duchess & The Killer

Jane Andrews was once a Royal dresser for Sarah, Duchess of York. But she found herself under police investigation in 2000 after the death of her boyfriend. She went on the run to evade the law, but when captured, police discovered a number of shocking allegations and had to find out if this was a cold blooded murder.

Mahek Bukhari: The TikTok Murders

According to the Disney+ synopsis, this sixth and final focus looks at "a chilling 999 that call captures two men in their final moments during a deadly high-speed car chase".

It continues: "CCTV leads police to a viral mother-daughter TikTok duo, exposing dark family secrets, a deadly ambush plot and a ruthless obsession with image."
