Missing persons

When a loved one goes missing, friends and family face an anxious wait for their return or to find out what has happened to them. Some missing people are never found - but they are never forgotten.

With more than 170,000 people going missing each year in the UK, the Mirror is using its platform to launch Missed - a campaign to shine a light on underrepresented public-facing missing persons in the UK via a live interactive map, in partnership with Missing People.

Because every missing person, no matter their background or circumstances, is someones son, daughter, mother, father, sister, brother, partner, friend. And they are always Missed.
