The 15 famous faces signed up for Strictly Come Dancing were snapped arriving to their first rehearsal on Friday morning, with some showing a hint of nerves.
On Wednesday the whole line-up of contestants was confirmed with, with Gavin and Stacey star Melanie Walters completing the list of celebrities set to compete on the show.
Melanie joins the cast along with; EastEnders star Lacey Turner, TV personality Dani Dyer, singer-songwriter Delta Goodrem, hair stylist Chris Appleton, social media star Cach Mercer, TV and radio host Will Best, paralympian Dame Sarah Storey, actress Jaime Winstone, actress Bethany Antonia, pundit and broadcaster Shaun Wright-Phillips, dog trainer Graeme Hall, actor Lawrence Robb, Olympian Tabby Stoecker, and football YouTuber John Nellis.
The line-up has already sparked plenty of discussion among Strictly fans, with some viewers admitting they have struggled to recognise a number of this year's contestants.
But despite the online chatter, they all seemed in high spirits as they arrived in London to kick off training. Dani Dyer shared a photo of herself in a car on the way to rehearsals and wrote: First day of the Strictly fun begins eeeek.
Paralympian Dame Sarah Storey also revealed she had her first wardrobe fitting for the programme on Thursday evening. The colours, the gemstones, the tassels; I was like a little girl in a sweetshop, it was just incredible," she said. Im just really looking forward to learning a few moves now and seeing what the rest of this particular trip brings. Its all started!
Australian singer Delta Goodrem was one of the first few contestants to join the show and said she was "extremely honoured" to be doing the show.
Listing her many achievements she said in a press release: "There is however one stage Ive never stepped onto and that is the ballroom floor!"
The star looked in high spirits as she arrived at the studios, coffee in hand and in a chic skirt and t-shirt combo.
(Dani Dyer is back on the show after a false start last year when she had to leave the show and was replaced by Amber Davies. She wore her hair in long curls and wore a skirt and top combo as she arrived for rehearsals on Friday.
She said: "I just cannot wait to get my dancing shoes back on and hopefully this time around I can actually make it to week one!"
(Actress Jaime Winstone, who is the daughter of Ray Winstone was the eighth star confirmed in the line-up and turned up to rehearsals in cowboy boots.
Announcing the news, Jaime said: "I am so excited to announce that I will be joining the Strictly Come Dancing cast this year. I am no stranger to a dance floor, but the ballroom is a whole new world for me. I love a challenge though, so cant wait to enter my showgirl era and get super sparkly!! Lets get physical see you on the dance floor!"
(Lawrence Robb looked ready to rumba as he arrived in a tank top and with a cap secured to his head.
When it was announced he's be on the show he said: "I don't know whos more excited about this, me or my Mother. I can't quite believe that I am going to be getting my dancing shoes on this September on one of my favourite shows of all time! It's a dream come true, and I can't wait to bring my all to ballroom. Wish me luck, and any advice is very welcome - trust me Ill need it!
(Hair stylist to the stars and bestie of Kim Kardashian, Chris Appleton wore an all blue look with bleach blonde hair as he arrived at rehearsals in London.
Speaking about joining the show, Chris said: "Im thrilled to be joining Strictly Come Dancing and coming home to the UK for this incredible experience. Ive always believed that the best things happen when you take a chance and try something new. I may know my way around a salon floor, but the dance floor is a whole different story and I cant wait to get started."
(Melanie Walters who famously starred in Gavin and Stacey as Gwen was all smiles as she arrived in a light linen shirt and shades for training.
She was the last contestant to be announced and told fans: "Performing in Pantomime for the last 15 years, my Strictly fix has always been watching in a dressing room rather than my front room.
"This year I am completely thrilled and happy to swap my fairy wand for sequinned dance shoes. I just hope I dont follow Cinderella and leave one on the Ballroom stairs. I cannot wait to take part in this absolutely iconic show, its so exciting. See you in September!"
(At the end of July it was announced that Shaun would be the tenth contestant to join the series.
"Dancing is in my bloodbut mainly at family events!" said the former England footballer at the time. "Strictly is definitely outside my comfort zone, but Im super excited to get started and really looking forward to the challenge!"
(EastEnders legend Lacey was the first contestant announced to take part in Strictly, and looked chic in pastel summer dress as she arrived at training.
The star who famously has played Stacey Slater on and off on the soap said in an announcement: "I am so excited to being making my way to the dance floor this year to be a part of Strictly Come Dancing! I am a huge fan and cant quite believe I will be taking part and not watching at home this year! I look forward to meeting everyone and learning a new skill!"
(This Morning star Graeme 'The Dogfather' Hall was been announced as the eleventh contestant for Strictly Come Dancing.
The star is best known for providing advice about caring for dogs on ITV's morning show, and said of joining the series: "I can't believe I am joining the cast of Strictly for 2026. I have always loved dancing, so to have the opportunity to learn from the best in the business is a dream come true.
"I have watched the show for years, so to be a part of it feels like a very exciting challenge, albeit more than a bit nerve-wracking! I can't wait to get started. Bring it on!"
(Love Island winner Cach Mercer was the fifth contestant announced on the show. The star looked in high spirits as he arrived at training, despite receiving some backlash for having dancing experience and regularly posting videos of himself dancing online.
He said in a statement: "I have grown up watching the show with my family and am so excited to now be part of the cast. Dancing is a huge passion of mine and I cant wait to learn Ballroom and do the Foxtrot for the first time!"
(Olympian Tabby Stoecker was one of the last contestants confirmed to appear on Strictly.
The Team GB skeleton athlete, 25, who won gold at the 2026 Winter Olympic Games, and who also recently joined the BBC's Gladiators, said: "I am over the moon to be joining the cast of Strictly 2026. Ive had the wildest year of my life so far, so to be rounding it off with a childhood dream of dancing in the Strictly ballroom is surreal and I cant wait to get stuck in!"
