A Place In The Sun presenter Jasmine Harman paid an emotional tribute to her late friend and co-star Jonnie Irwin as it would have been his 52nd birthday. The pair presented the same travel show since it first aired in 2004 and their friendship was just as strong away from the cameras.

Jonnie sadly died last February last year after battling lung cancer. Taking to Instagram earlier this week, Jasmine posted a throwback picture of them in their younger years, living what appears to be a fun-loving care-free lifestyle.

Both broadly smiling for the camera, Jasmine, 50 and Jonnie looked as though they were having the time of their lives. She captioned the picture saying: "Happy heavenly birthday dearest Jonnie. We miss you so much, but especially this weekend when I was celebrating my 50th.

She then went on to say: "You were there at my 30th birthday, and my 40th - always the life and soul of the party." Jonnie left behind a wife and three children."

She added: "I never thought the day would come when I would catch up with you in age. The last time we saw each other was your 50th birthday! This pic was taken 20 years ago! I will always treasure the memories of the fun times we had. Sending so much love to your lovely family."

Jasmine's heart-breaking post comes after she revealed that her husband Jon Boast appeared to suffer a heart attack while filming their property TV show, Jasmine Harman's Renovations In The Sun.

Jon fell ill while in the Spanish island of Costa Del Sol. In the show, viewers watch on as the couple transform a Spanish villa, in great need of work, into a family home of their dreams.

But it was while filming their project, Jon suffered chest pains and paramedics were called to take him to hospital. Speaking to the cameras, Jasmine said that she was concerned it was a heart attack.

And in an interview with the Mirror, Jasmine explained: "With Jons family history, hed already been having regular screenings. Now they are doing more investigations and keeping an eye on him. Hes on medication and they will continue to do regular monitoring."

She continued: "I know this sounds strange but even with the background of what could have happened and worrying he could have died.

It makes you feel lucky he just had a mild heart attack and everything is fine. The challenges life throws at you have made me take things in my stride a lot better than I used to."
