Jonnie Irwin began his television career in 2014 when he was chosen from thousands of candidates to host A Place In The Sun

Jonnie presented the property show along with Jasmine Harman. He also fronted other property shows including Escape To The Country and To Buy Or Not To Buy.

Jonnie announced he had terminal cancer in 2022. He died on February 2nd, 2024.
