Jasmine Harman revealed her heart is so full after spending the weekend with the family of her late A Place In The Sun co-host, Jonnie Irwin.

The presenter died in 2024, at the age of 50, following a three-year battle with lung cancer. His loved ones - including his wife Jessica and their three children - were plunged into heartbreak following their loss.

In a sweet new post on social media, the Channel 4 star shared a glimpse of their sun-drenched getaway with fans, while keeping her beloved friend in her thoughts. In one snap, the group were seen posing in front of a pool, while a video showed them taking it in turns to jump into the water.

Alongside the Instagram post, she wrote: Oh Jonnie, you would have loved this weekend. My heart is so full after spending time with Jess and the boys. Youd be so proud of them, she captioned the upload.

Watching our families spend time together, sharing laughs, stories and creating new memories, felt so incredibly special. You are always missed, but seeing your boys grow into such wonderful young people is a beautiful reminder that a part of you is still with us every day.

And dear Jess, I am always in awe of you. Such an amazing woman and wonderful wife and mum @jessofjesmond.

Fans couldnt get enough of the upload and quickly flooded the comments with praise. One penned: Oh Jasmine, this is so heartwarming! Im so pleased that your friendship with Jess and the boys is still thriving. We all still miss Jonnie.

This made me cry. He will never be forgotton. So glad your still in touch with his family [sic], a follower commented, as an Instagram user replied: Such a kind thing to do, so sad yet so lovely to see your kids playing with johnnies boys, you really are a truly lovely family to have as friends.

Another added: I loved watching Jonnie on Escape to Country and Place in the Sun he was so full of fun and so lovely to watch. I still look for all the old re-runs of his programmes. He is so missed. Watching you Jasmine makes me feel he will never be forgotten. I know how close you were.

Jonnie - who married Jessica in 2016 - died in 2024 after a gruelling illness. He was initially diagnosed with lung cancer in 2020 and later explained that it had spread to his brain.

Within a week of flying back from filming, I was being given six months to live, he told the Sun of his condition. I had to go home and tell my wife, who was looking after our babies, that she was on her own, pretty much.

That was devastating. All I could do was apologise to her. I felt so responsible.

Jessica - who welcomed sons Rafa, Rex and Cormac with Jonnie - confirmed the sad news of his death on Instagram at the time.

"It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of Jonnies passing. A truly remarkable soul, he fought bravely against cancer with unwavering strength and courage, she said.

"Jonnie touched the lives of so many with his kindness, warmth, and infectious spirit. At this time, we kindly ask for the privacy of Jonnies family as they navigate through this profound loss. Their grief is immeasurable, and your thoughts, prayers, and support are deeply appreciated.

As we remember the beautiful moments shared with Jonnie, let us celebrate a life well-lived and a legacy that will forever be etched in our hearts. Jonnie may be gone from our sight, but his love, laughter, and memories will live on. Rest in peace, dear Jonnie. You will be dearly missed, but never forgotten."
