Tabby Stoecker, who won gold at the 2026 Winter Olympic Games and recently joined Gladiators, has been announced as the latest contestant for Strictly and will be joining an EastEnders icon, an ex-England player and Kim Kardashian's hairdresser

Tabby Stoecker has been announced as the latest contestant on Strictly Come Dancing.


The Team GB skeleton athlete, 25, who won gold at the 2026 Winter Olympic Games, will be joining the hotly-anticipated series of the Saturday night favourite when it all kicks off next month, with new presenters Emma Willis, Johannes Radebe and Josh Widdecombe at the helm.


Tabby, who also recently joined the BBC's Gladiators, said: "I am over the moon to be joining the cast of Strictly 2026. Ive had the wildest year of my life so far, so to be rounding it off with a childhood dream of dancing in the Strictly ballroom is surreal and I cant wait to get stuck in!"

Despite only making her international debut in the sport five years ago, Tabbys long list of accolades also includes being a World Cup race winner, a double World Championship medallist, a European Championship medallist.

Just before the weekend, Strictly bosses announced that Emmerdale star Lawrence Robb, who plays Mackenzie Boyd on the ITV soap, had joined the lineup. When she scored the historic gold medal earlier this year, Tabby was partnered with Matt West in what was the inaugural mixed team skeleton event. For Tabby, the news comes in the same week that it was announced she had joined the lineup of Gladiators, which is currently being filmed in Sheffield.


Lawrence said: "I don't know whos more excited about this, me or my Mother. I can't quite believe that I am going to be getting my dancing shoes on this September on one of my favourite shows of all time! It's a dream come true, and I can't wait to bring my all to ballroom. Wish me luck, and any advice is very welcome - trust me Ill need it!

Prior to that, it was announced that Graeme 'The Dogfather' Hall had also signed up to hit the ballroom. The ITV star, who is best known for providing advice about caring for dogs on ITV's morning show, said: "I can't believe I am joining the cast of Strictly for 2026.

"I have always loved dancing, so to have the opportunity to learn from the best in the business is a dream come true. I have watched the show for years, so to be a part of it feels like a very exciting challenge, albeit more than a bit nerve-wracking! I can't wait to get started. Bring it on!"

Football legend Shaun Wright-Phillips has also been announced. All three stars will compete against House of the Dragon star Bethany Antonia, and two EastEnders stars - Lacey Turner, who plays Stacey Slater, and Jaime Winstone, who portrayed Peggy Mitchell in a flashback episode after playing Barbara Windsor herself in a BBC biopic.

Other names include Love Island's Dani Dyer and Cach Mercer, Kim Kardashian's hairdresser Chris Appleton and Eurovision star Delta Goodrem. Dani was supposed to compete last year but withdrew due to injury as was replaced by fellow Love Island winner Amber Davies.
