What's Included

  • Our Professional Services and making sure the necessary paperwork is completed
  • Collecting and transporting your Loved One
  • Caring for and preparing your Loved One at our funeral home
  • Staff on the day of the cremation, with a non-ceremonial vehicle
  • Crematorium fee at the crematorium of our choosing*
  • A simple wood effect veneer coffin

What's Not Included

  • A funeral service cannot be held
  • Mourners are not permitted to attend the cremation
  • No celebrant or officiant may be present
  • You cannot choose the date or time of the cremation
  • Choice of coffin is not available

* If you wish, you may specify a particular crematorium location. In that case, the fee for your chosen crematorium will be charged instead of our standard crematorium.

  • Ceremonial Vehicle add-on

    For families who prefer the simplicity of an Unattended cremation, but wish for the
    deceased to be conveyed to the crematorium in a traditional ceremonial vehicle.

    A hearse will convey the coffin, along with a small spray of flowers, to the crematorium for the unattended cremation.

The equivalent price if these funeral products were purchased today would be 2,063 for an unattended funeral (excludes doctors fees in Northern Ireland, if required), 3,553 for Choice Essentials and 3,845 for Choice Plus (based on our lowest priced coffin). These prices are a national average based on 297 branches in the Funeral Partners Network. Funeral prices vary and may go up or down in the future. Local prices differ, please check your local Funeral Partners branch for specific funeral prices or go online at funeralpartners.co.uk. These prices are correct as of 10.08.26.

APCL incurs costs in order to provide this Funeral Plan to you. APCL typically retains around 500 of the price you pay for each Funeral Plan to cover our costs. The Insurer will provide APCL with commission on the monies invested with them (from 0% up to 8%). The commission received does not affect the price of your plan and the precise amount will be determined by the Covered Individual's age at the time of purchasing, as well as the payment method you choose.
