Harbins Farm is an impressive detached farmhouse set in the Dorset countryside just outside Sherborne, near the sought after village of Glanvilles Wootton, dating back around 200 years, sympathetically refurbished throughout to create an impressive holiday home, perfect for memorable family gatherings or relaxed stays with friends.

The result is a beautifully balanced home that retains its country character while offering spacious, contemporary living with a number of stylish, well thought out touches throughout.

The heart of the house is the generous open-plan living and dining space, designed for both everyday living and entertaining.

A large dining table sits comfortably within the space, complemented by a woodburning stove that adds warmth and character.

The adjoining kitchen is particularly striking, fitted with marble worktops, a large range cooker, integrated appliances and an island that works equally well for casual dining or preparation.

From here, the layout flows naturally into the main sitting room, again featuring a woodburning stove, and onward into a light filled garden room with patio doors opening directly onto the gardens beyond.

Practicality has been carefully considered, with a utility and boot room providing space for laundry appliances, along with a ground floor cloakroom.

Underfloor heating runs throughout the property, ensuring year round comfort.

South facing and thoughtfully landscaped with lawns, mature trees and pretty planting, they enjoy open countryside views and are bordered by a small brook that gently runs through the grounds.

A large garden room at the rear provides an ideal spot to relax and take in the surroundings.

Ample parking is available for up to five cars.

Harbins Farm occupies an idyllic location, well placed for exploring some of Dorsets most appealing attractions.

There are footpaths on the doorstep and you can use these to walk to two local pubs and less than a mile to a farm shop and cafe.

Sherborne is close by with its historic abbey, independent shops and cafs, while the iconic Cerne Abbas Giant, Minterne House and Gardens, and numerous local walking and riding routes are all within easy reach.

The Jurassic Coast is also readily accessible, with Ringstead Bay, Durdle Door and stretches of the South West Coast Path offering memorable days out by the sea.

The ancient town of Sherborne lies on the delightful banks of the River Yeo set amidst glorious unspoilt countryside and boasts many picturesque buildings, ancient Inns and quaint shops. Probably best known for its beautiful abbey and two stunning castles, one of which is relatively new, only dating back to 1594 and boasting superbly landscaped gardens, Sherborne makes an ideal place for a day of sightseeing or a quiet afternoon stroll. A short drive will take you to the stunning house and gardens at Stourhead and the sublime Dorset Heritage Coast, whilst just across the border in Somerset is the Fleet Air Arm Museum at Yeovilton, offering stunning displays of historic aircraft, including Concorde. A fantastic location for all the family.
