Owners are great, and very helpful kind people, Would recommend more fans if heatwaves continue, other than that a great place for a holiday. Very well equiped in the kitchen.
Helen and Jeff also provided us loads of ideas on where to visit, this was our first visit to Norfolk and was made perfect by our hosts with there super comfortable accommodation. Looking out of the kitchen window we looked out onto their beautiful garden where there is a pond with a colony of Moorhens and their chick's, they provided us with endless entertainment. Property is absolutely wonderful. Perfect location to drive around Norfolk from. The property owner was lovely and could not do enough to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Property had everything you needed and was very comfortable. Would definitely go back.

Very warm and cosy with comfortable beds. Helen,Jeff and John all very friendly and helpful especially when we needed a bit of help sorting hot water supply problems...all fine . The garden is a source of lots of wildlife and birds including deer, woodpeckers and the distinctive call of owls at dusk and at night.

Spacious and comfortable. All facilities provided for. Heating already set up for warmth. Plenty of birdlife and loved the pond with the moorhens who were fun to watch. Easy to get to Kings Lynn with the lovely close-by sandy beaches which allow dogs. Really enjoyed my stay there.

When we arrived the cottage was lovely and clean. Everything had been thought of with a fan at the ready for the hot weather, a baby gate that was easy to install after bring in the bags, and even a crate for if pups are stay (it would only fit up to a spaniel size dog but still lovely that the owners have thought of the option!) The garden is a beautiful space to explore with the pup every morning, so picturesque.

The cottage was situated in a lovely village near all the amenities. The garden was beautifully maintained by the owners who were very friendly and welcoming on arrival. Clean, cosy and a wonderful comfortable bed which made for a great nights sleep. Great shower too. We will definitely stay again. Milk and biscuits on arrival were a very nice gesture too

Masses of leaflets covering wide variety of events etc. Super onsite hosts, nice little extras on arrival. Fabulous huge garden available to sit out and enjoy the peaceful tranquility and plethora of birds visiting. Everything utensil you need for a holiday cottage - very well provided for and quality. Loved the quirkiness of the layout. Cannot fault at all.
Fantastic cottage and grounds, the garden is just beautiful and plenty of room to relax in with our little dog. The property was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. The hosts were perfect, very friendly and welcoming but also gave us our space to enjoy the peace and quiet. There was lots of information about the local area provided too. The property is in a great position to explore the Norfolk coast and has a great local pub. The fish and chip shop was also really good. We would 100% recommend Wisteria Cottage for a relaxing short break and will definitely be back.

Has everything you need, plus a huge garden for kids / dog and is a great base to explore North Norfolk from. Well be back!
Wen we arrived we were met by Helen the owner, who made us feel very welcome and explained all about the property. We were not disappointed with the facilities and everything was very clean and comfortable. The lovely garden was fille with wildlife, particularly birds and the very funny moorhens, of course! Wisteria Cottage is a great base from which to explore the surrounding North Norfolk Coast and there are many walks available such as at Bawsey Country Park which is only 2 or 3 miles away. Hunstanton is 15 miles and all of the shops and eateries of Kings Lynn are under 5 miles away. All in all we had a great stay in the Norfolk countryside!
The cottage was clean and very comfortable with all we needed. We really enjoyed watching the various birds, including, Buzzard, Woodpecker, Goldfinch and many more, who visited the garden, from the kitchen window. Our Cocker spaniel really enjoyed the large garden. There is a large pond where Moorhens and the occasional duck enjoy a swim.
The accommodation was 5****** Helen Jeff and John where lovely and so friendly the pictures do not do it any justice I would recommend it any one x

The garden was a wonderful bonus, lots of room for the dog to run around and lovely to have grass, as most dog friendly cottages do not. We were just very sad we could not stay longer.

Everything about it was fabulous. Very clean and comfortable. Helen, Jeff, John and Flo the dog made us very welcome, giving us loads of helpful information about the area. Beautiful huge garden we could walk around with a stream in part of it with lots of Moor hens and chicks. Lovely relaxing place to unwind. We will definitely book again next year.

The hosts were fantastic and couldnt do enough, the cottage fully stocked in all you could need and we found very comfortable for our requirements. Lovely large gardens for our pups to explore. In summary if you looking for the ideal place to explore this part of the world then look no further.

A real home from home with the most beautiful big garden to explore! Very friendly, informative hosts too! The welcome pack inc a bottle of wine was very much appreciated! I wouldnt hesitate in recommending Wisteria Cottage
Owners very friendly and helpful. We used it as a base for our visit to the Norfolk sites on our puppies first holiday. Our only very small point out would be, a more comfortable less creaky sofa would make this a 5 star place to stay.

This is a nice location in please surroundings. Beds were clean and comfortable. Curtain in the main bedroom could possibly do with different curtains or blackout blinds as the light streams in. The crows in the surrounding trees were a little noisy in the early morning (Not much you can do about this!) but the garden, pond and birds were very nice. Wonder if you could make more of the spare room off the Lounge but it was useful for storing suitcases and drying wet towels. Would definitely recommend if you are visiting this area of the country.

We found Wisteria cottage and Decided to book the 3 weeks. The cottage is very comfortable, clean and well presented, and most of all DOG friendly. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. The garden is large and inviting with seating, table and bbq equipment provided. The owners are welcoming, friendly and their local knowledge was helpful and enhanced the stay.
Perfect for dogs, the garden is fantastic . . . enough space to use a dog ball launcher! The cotrage is a generous size & very well equipped. Helen & Jeff were great hosts & very welcoming. Really friendly village & a great pub which also serves gluten free food which is a real bonus. Looking to book again later in the year.

Friendly and helpful owners who were on hand and never appeared too busy to talk to you. Garage shop as good as any mini market and butcher worth a visit. Felt Covid safe but also we were able to relax and forget the pandemic!

The hosts were very welcoming. Very comfortable mattress so you will sleep well. Only the kitchen on the ground floor the rest of the accommodation on the first floor..very clean and very well equipped (no dishwasher) kitchen ..nice shower in a lovely bathroom. The village itself has a lovely pub called the crown very nice food.. the fish and chip shop is a 5 minute walk they only take cash! There is a garage and shop 2 minute walk away too. Very well situated for exploring Norfolk and would recommend a stay here.

Situated in a lovely quiet village with a good pub, with good access to the nearby beaches and Norfolk countryside, but also not far from the amenities of Kings Lynn. The hosts could not do enough to make us feel welcome and help us get the most from our holiday. Would love to come back here again.

Located on the grounds of the owner's home, this property has been built in a traditional style to make a warm and welcoming base for friends and families seeking to explore the delights of Norfolk.
The ground floor offers an open-plan, farmhouse-style kitchen/diner with all the necessary appliances for rustling up some delicious meals, with the added benefit of a washing machine so you don't have to bring your whole wardrobe with you!

The small Norfolk village of Gayton is surrounded by charming, open countryside, and yet is within easy reach of the coast, offering two shops, a fish and chip shop and a pub, and host to a prominent historic windmill. Gayton lies seven miles to the east of the popular market town of Kings Lynn, which still retains the character, charm and many traditional buildings of its original function as a medieval port, set along its winding streets.
