With a Masters degree in Corporate Finance from SKEMA Business School and a background in M&A and finance, Mars brings a strategic, results-driven approach to digital media. Hicham Alame is an Investment Partner at Valnet Inc., where he brings deep cross-functional knowledge developed over years of contributing to the company's growth. Yury Smagorinsky is Valnets General Counsel and VP, Legal Affairs, and is responsible for all legal and compliance matters across the Company, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, litigation, intellectual property and the structuring of Valnets international operations. A dual-licensed attorney in Canada and the U.S., Yury has extensive experience from practising at leading law firms and prominent organizations. He holds degrees in both Common Law and Civil Law from McGill University, and brings a strategic, cross-jurisdictional perspective to Valnet's legal and business operations.

Timmy Argento is an experienced professional with a passion for excellence and innovation in finance. As Director of Finance, he is responsible for overseeing the companys financial functions, including accounting, audit, treasury, tax and corporate finance. Prior to joining Valnet in 2018, Timmy held senior-level positions in various industries, such as construction, real-estate, and tech for over 10 years and started his professional career at Deloitte Canada while pursuing his graduate degree in Chartered Accountancy. Timmy is a proud member of lOrdre des CPA du Qubec since 2010 and a graduate of Concordia University.

Ji Heon Kim is the Head of Monetization at Valnet Inc., where he oversees both programmatic and direct advertising strategies across the companys digital portfolio. With a background in Sports Marketing and no prior adtech experience, Ji Heon has played a pivotal role in building Valnets monetization engine from the ground up, transforming it into a high-performing, scalable operation. Tom Hill is Director of Revenue Operations, Direct Sales at Valnet, where he leads the company's direct sales organization and commercial operations strategy. With more than a decade of experience in digital advertising, revenue strategy, and publisher operations, Tom specializes in building scalable commercial organizations that align sales, data, and operational execution. He works closely with teams across the business to develop go-to-market strategies, strengthen advertiser relationships, and unlock new revenue opportunities across Valnet's global network.

Andrea DiVirgilio is Head of Administration and Culture at Valnet Inc., where she leads the Executive Administrative team and oversees office operations and cultural initiatives across the organization. One of Valnets earliest employees, Andrea has held a variety of rolesfrom content creation to website managementbefore evolving into a key figure in shaping company culture. She holds a degree in Public Relations from McGill University and serves as Valnets dedicated culture ambassador.

Tania Rahman is Head of Human Resources at Valnet Inc., where she leads both the HR and Payroll functions with a focus on operational excellence, employee experience, and employer branding. With over five years of experience across talent acquisition, employee relations, total rewards, and compliance, Tania brings a people-first approach to building strong, scalable teams. She holds a Bachelors degree in Psychology and a Diploma in Human Resource Management from McGill University.

Evangelis Antipas is Head of Human Capital at Valnet. He brings a decade of experience recruiting for top talent with an emphasis on entrepreneurship and investor mindsets. He is educated at McGill University and holds a CRHA designation. He started his career as a leader at Talent 300 Inc. a boutique recruitment firm growing teams with purpose. With a solid foundation in Accounting and Finance, he moved on to Richter LLP where he was responsible for building out the firm's experienced hires. He now runs the Human Capital function at Valnet and leads a team of talent acquisition advisors with a focus on developing and expanding human capital capabilities.

Anthony Abbondanza is Senior Portfolio Manager at Valnet, overseeing the media investment company's automotive publications. Since joining Valnet in 2015, he has led both editorial and business operations across many portfolios. With a background in journalism and degrees in Political Science and Journalism from Concordia University, Anthony began his career as a reporter and Editor-in-Chief for local Montreal newspapers before transitioning into digital media. Today, he manages all aspects of Valnet's automotive portfolio, including budgeting, performance, team leadership, and long-term growth strategy.

Ian Bragranza is the Portfolio Manager for Valnets Travel division, overseeing the strategy, growth, and performance of Simple Flying and The Travel. With a background in finance and a CFA designation, Ian brings a sharp analytical lens to digital publishing. He holds a BCom in Finance from Concordia University and began his career in financial services before transitioning into the tech and media space. At Valnet, he combines data-driven decision-making with editorial insight to scale high-performing brands in the travel vertical.

Michael Addonna is the Portfolio Manager for Valnets Screen Brands, where he oversees the growth and performance of leading entertainment properties. With more than five years of leadership experience, Michael brings a strong operators mindset and a proven track record of driving execution across cross-functional teams, scaling business operations, and leveraging financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
