Piers Morgan issued an apology on This Morning after a major slip-up live on air.
The former Good Morning Britain star was involved in a tense debate with guest Ashley James over the patriarchy, alongside hosts Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley.
However, as his passion grew, he suffered a huge blunder, swearing on air, as he said "bulls**t".
He immediately realised his mistake, putting his hand over his mouth and apologising.
The Uncensored host had been arguing with Ashley about men crying in front of their friends and toxic masculinity.
Whats wrong with being tough and manning up? Piers had asked, to which Ashley replied: That is not a masculine trait!
After he interrupted with his swear word in response, Piers immediately noticed his mistake, apologised and said to the camera: Sorry! Id like to apologise for what the guest just said live on air.
We are a live programme, we apologise for Mr Morgan and he wont be invited back for at least three weeks.
I think it might be longer, Ben replied.
Despite apologising, Piers changed his tune moments later, as the segment came to an end.
Ben repeated an apology to viewers, saying: Obviously, as Piers said, we are sorry that he has such a foul mouth. We do apologise for swearing.
But Piers then questioned: Was it swearing, really?
After being reminded hed already apologised, he insisted: Yeah but I didnt really mean it. Its not really swearing.
Im now on YouTube where I can say what I think, he added. The problem here is, its a little bit over sanitized.
This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV1 and ITVX
