Gavin & Stacey star headlines huge Cardiff night out this summer

One of Britain's best-loved TV stars will help thousands of students celebrate A-level results day as Gavin & Stacey star Mathew Horne takes over the decks for an exclusive DJ set at Cardiff bar The Philharmonic.

Whether they're celebrating a tidy set of A-level results or simply toasting the end of exam season, students can dance the night away as Mathew, or screen favourite Gavlaar, swaps the screen for the decks for one night only.

A-level results day - Thursday, August 13 - is one of the biggest nights of the year for students, marking the end of months of hard work, revision and anticipation.

After the nerves of collecting their grades, thousands of young people across the country come together to celebrate their achievements, reunite with friends and look ahead to the next chapter of their journey.

The Philharmonic is run by independent pub company Croeso, which also runs Retro, Brewhouse, Blue Bell, Daffodil, The Dock in Cardiff Bays Mermaid Quay, and community pubs The Discovery in Lakeside and The Bears Head in Penarth.
